About Me
I’m a dedicated Judo coach with [28)years of experience training as an athlete and coaching judoka across all levels—from beginners to competitive athletes. My passion lies in teaching the art and discipline of Judo while instilling values like respect, resilience, and continuous improvement on and off the mat.

Coaching Experience
• Head Judo Coach at Kanokwai judo, [Years]
• assists many coaches during my starting point in coaching and now support various coaches with Great Britain with squad sessions, skill session and competitions
• support coaching roles with various clubs to help mentor the next generations of coaches and to support new development and education to the over all club for the past 12 years
• national I support Judo Scotland and Great Britain with competitions, camps, squad sessions. International I supported the head coaches of the governing bodies. Personally, I have attended international and national events with club players.

Coaching Philosophy
I believe Judo is more than a sport—it’s a way of life. My approach focuses on strong fundamentals, discipline, and personal growth. Whether students aim to compete or train recreationally, I strive to create a supportive environment that builds confidence, technique, and character through inclusion for all as a community club

• [Medals at international events , world ranking points for selection at Europeans, worlds, commonwealth games , reserved Olympian. International medalists , national medalists and up coming athletes starting out in adaptive competitions and beginner events
• Helped several students to earn their black belt
• introduced to the hall of fame for north Lanarkshire at Ravenscraig
