SAFEGUARDING & POLICIES

A SAFE, WELCOMING CLUB FOR EVERYONE

The safety, wellbeing and enjoyment of every Kanokwai member is our priority.

We want children, young people and adults to enjoy Judo in an environment where they feel safe, respected and supported, and where members and parents know who they can speak to if they ever have a concern.

Safeguarding & Welfare

Kanokwai is affiliated with JudoScotland and follows the appropriate safeguarding and welfare policies, procedures and guidance for our sport.

Our coaching team maintains the appropriate qualifications and requirements for their roles, including relevant PVG, safeguarding and first-aid requirements.

Our Welfare Team

Our Club Welfare Officers are available to support Judoka, parents and carers and to deal appropriately with any welfare or safeguarding concerns.
